The Audubon Center at Chatfield is hosting an event that is out-of-this-world! From 9pm – 11pm on Thursday, March 31, professors from the astronomy program at Red Rocks Community College will be taking adults and children on a journey through the spring skies during this amazing Astronomy Star Party. Telescopes will be placed at the Audubon’s amphitheater in order to examine the stars and planets. Everyone that registers will get the opportunity to ask the astronomy professors questions and engage in exciting conversations about the universe we belong to. Seven Stones Chatfield is inviting all Roxborough residents to celebrate spring at their Time & Togetherness event on Saturday, April 2nd from 11:00am – 2:00pm. This FREE event will consist of spring planting activities, hayrack rides, music and there will be cocoa and marshmallows served fireside. A Night in Monte Carlo will be an event filled with casino games and a live auction. This fun event will take place at Waterton Tavern, Saturday, April 2nd from 7:00pm – 11:00pm to raise funds for Hands Across Roxborough. Tickets are $50 a piece and include appetizers, door prizes, entry and play money for poker, blackjack, roulette and crap tables. Tickets can be purchased at Waterton Tavern.
